Driving Work

After passing my driving test, one of my first jobs was working as a driver for a second-hand car dealership. On a daily basis, I was responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles across the country.  It was during this time that I built confidence driving vehicles of all shapes and sizes. I loved experiencing a wide variety of makes and models, comparing how each one drove—some better than others! It felt like I was carrying out my own Top Gear review. Little did I know that one day, I would go on to work for the show itself.
 
Naturally, my career progressed into other driving-related roles. Branching out as private hire taxi driver, offered another excellent opportunity to build on my skills—most notably, providing outstanding customer service and efficient route planning. I particularly enjoyed the constant interaction with new people, something I’ve always valued in any working environment.
 
After graduating university, I began working in various driving roles within the television industry, primarily driving vans and 9-seater minibuses for productions such as DIY SOS, Changing Rooms & Challenge Anneka. Eventually, I was offered the opportunity to work on Top Gear—a dream come true, having been a lifelong fan of the show. I jumped at the chance, and to this day, it remains one of my proudest professional achievements.
 
As expected, I worked with some of the world’s most rare, luxurious, and exciting cars—many of which I was fortunate enough to drive. I was part of the Pro Driving Team, working alongside some of the industry’s top professionals. My main responsibility was transporting vehicles to and from filming locations, allowing me to gain advanced car control experience in high-performance vehicles, both on and off the track. This role helped solidify my reputation as a trusted and professional driver of high-value vehicles, and I loved every moment of it.
 
Alongside my ongoing media work, I work as a freelance Supercar Driving Instructor with Everyman Driving Experiences, In this role, I provide demonstration laps, under-17 driving experiences, and advanced car control and track instruction to customers. It's a highly rewarding experience, especially knowing that for many, it may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
 
My reputation and experience have continued to open doors, allowing me to drive rare and unique vehicles as part of my photography and filmmaking work. Whether it be iconic Italian supercar, a mint condition British Classic or anything else in between I love getting behind the wheel and am proud to have built a career that combines my greatest passions and I look forward to future opportunities.
